Bit of a hurry

Dear Teachers,



  1. – I’m in a bit of a hurry.
- I’m pretty / quite hurry now.

- Are these natural?



  1. A: How about going out for coffee tomorrow night?
B: Tomorrow night is no good for me.

- Why don’t we say “………..is not good for me”?



  1. A: How’s my little brother?
B: less of the little.

- Does “less of the little” mean “not very well”, right?



  1. Does” less than perfect” mean “ can’t be better”, right?

  2. You’re late dude, she’s just gotten out / she’s just gone out to buy something.
- Is this natural?

2. How about going out for coffee tomorrow night? Tomorrow night is no good for me.] “………..is not good for me” is ok as well.



"It is no good for me" means "it is not a good thing for me".
