Can I write:

Mary celebrated her birthday / birthday party at the garden.

Mary celebrated her birthday party at the garden which was a stone's throw away from her house.

Mary celebrated her birthday / birthday party in the garden.

Here's a further point.
'Celebrate' means mark a special event with some kind of festivity.
The special event was the anniversary of Mary's birth (ie her birthday). What she celebrated was her birthday. She didn't celebrate the party. The party is how she celebrated.
