Bind or secure or other ?

Hi there,

When a car crashes onto a wall for instance that car will need to be taken to the garage by a tow car (I am not sure if this is the most used name for that machine).

What I really what to know is the correct verb/expression given to the act of attach the steel rope from the tow car on the car itself.

In the sentence above I Have used the verb attach but is it correct or is there a more appropriate verb like bind or secure ?

Thanks in advance,
utxeee.

"attach" is OK. "tow truck" is the usual term for the towing vehicle. "steel cable" is more usual than "steel rope". You attach one thing to another.

"attach the tow truck's steel cable to the car"
