Binary is a system of counting that uses a base unit of 2 instead of 10. You can actually count with any base unit.

It only uses 0s and 1s and the number 10, in binary code, means 2. Bit hard to explain here briefly, you need to go and look at the link below if you are really interested. The joke is funny if you understand binary, and not if you don't, which is what the joke itself is say
