Bill said, ‘That's what makes Mike “Mike”.’

Bill said, ‘That's what makes Mike “Mike”.’

In that sentence above, how do we – without rephrasing – punctuate it to show the reader that the sentence means ‘That's what makes Mike the person who he is'? Do we italicize the 2nd 'Mike', or do we use quotes? Do we use a comma after the 1st 'Mike'?

Please advise.
