Bill, cheque

Hello~
I've heard that bill is different from cheque in England and USA.

How are they different?
I don't know exactly. please answer me.

Both "bill" and "check" (American spelling) have different meanings. If you are talking about the one in a restaurant, in which the server brings you the piece of paper telling you what you must pay, we use both "bill" and "check" interchangeably where I live (the US), although I use "check" far more often.
