Hi!
Which one is correct?
Bill and I going to the pub mustn't be a problem for his girlfriend; otherwise she wouldn't have let him go.
Bill and me going to the pub mustn't be a problem for his girlfriend; otherwise she wouldn't have let him go.
I think the second is right since I can replace "Bill and me" with "us". But I can't replace "Bill and I" with "we".
Is my thinking correct?
Thanks!
