Bike, cycle & pedal (verbs)

When it comes to sports such as cycling, are there any cases in which the verbs "pedal", "cycle" and "bike" may be used interchangeably?

If so, would you please give me some examples?

Thank you.

"bike" and "cycle" may be used more or less interchangeably in meaning in contexts such as "I'm biking/cycling to work today". "bike" is somewhat more informal, and it could also extend to motorcycling, which "cycle" does not. "pedalling" focuses more on the actual process of turning the wheels via the pedals, rather than the means of travel.
