Big Billy?

I saw the name on one of the restaurants while watching a movie written like this:

Big Billy Burgers.

My question ... What is meant by Big Billy here? Is it referring to big Stomach or just for a person?

Thanks in advance.

Is the owner a large person named Billy?

I didn't see the owner ... just noticed the name of the restaurant ... and the staff also having their shirts written on it: Big Billy Burgers.

Could be anything: Big Billy might be the owner of this burger bar OR Billy Burgers might be burgers made to a particular recipe, and these are large ones so "Big [Billy Burgers]. Or it could just be that the owner thought it sounded good - nice alliterative title, easily remembered.

Howeve, it does not mean "big stomach."

"Big Billy's Burgers" on the other hand might well imply that Billy is disproportionate in some direction.

It's a nickname for someone named William, someone who is presumably a rather large person. It has nothing to do with belly, except that it seems Big Billy might have a big belly -- but maybe it's just that he is very tall. Another example of such a nickname is California Jim -- someone named James, and who is from California.

CalifJimGeorge doesn't like that Beethoven symphony.

Neither do I. Debussy and Rachmaninov are my favorites.
