I saw this word in a question on EnglishForward "Bidding" but I need to know how to use it correctly. I'll write a sentence and please correct it to me if it's not correct. Example: "I have to fix this laptop. Can you do it at my bidding?" Thanks!

This is not an idiomatic use of "at my bidding". Normally, "at my bidding" is used to show that you have power over someone else. You command them. What you have is like saying, "Could you please let me command you to do it?" There's a conflict between asking permission and giving orders.
