Bibliography

Hi.

Is there any difference between references and bibliography? I have seen both used at the end of dissertations.

Thanks for your help

Hello Hrsanei They are interchangeable, although there seems to be a tendency to use "references" more in biomedical publishing lately. If you are not certain which to use, check the "instructions to the author" section of the journal you wish to publish in, and see which word they prefer. If the manuscript is not destined for publication, use the one you like most.
