Hi CJ
According to Cambridge dictionary online, 'not see beyond something' means to to have all your attention on something and therefore be unable to consider other things.
Would you think that the sentence 'she cannot see beyond the fact that he is still married' could mean she has all her attention on what he is still married rather than she ignores it?
Thank you very muc

'When you're 18, you've got no concept of time and you can't see beyond the end of the week.'
