Between OR Among
#1 The scandal that has been revealed recently is that there is an alliance between these three European companies.
I think "between" should be replaced with "among". As I know we can use "between" for three or more things only if they are mentioned separately.
For example
1. The negotiations between Brazil, Argentina, and Chile are going well
2. The negotiations among the countries of South America are going well.
3. I’m trying to decide between the green shirt, the blue shirt, and the black shirt.
4. I’m trying to decide among these shirts.

taruns1008 As I know we can use "between" for three or more things only if they are mentioned separately. That is not correct. You should use 'between' in all the above examples.
