Between each country

With every country having faith in one another, it will allow a closer bond between each country to help fix the problems occurring in Europe right now.

Is the bold part correct? Shouldn't it be "between the countries" instead?

Thanks.

Yes, or just 'between countries'. You can't have 'between' without more than one complement after it. between X and Y / between Zs
