What is it usually said:
You can choose between these three dates!

Why everybody uses "between" even if there are more than two dates???

'Between' is idiomatically used with 'difference', no matter the number of choices (perhaps because we are considering the options pair by pair).
In other situations, the rule of 'between' two options and 'among' more than two options applies (though, because of the frequency of the 'difference between' idiom, there is often carryover into other forms among native speakers, I am sure).

Frankly speaking I myself don't know them in details. My guess is: COM would be the domain where common people (even children, foreigners) can make their home pages and GOV would be the domain mostly used by US governmental officers.

Yes, my boy friend's a potter, and we have a -com web page, so even foreigners have some! LOL! What I didn't understand was how you could make a difference between Amenglish & BritEnglish based on com & gov? Because hits from com pages may also be from the States?
