Better word for "Design sense" in this sentence

This is the sentence,

Could you please send me a few sample designs that will help me understand your design sense?

The client want me to design a brochure and I want him to send me a few of his favorite brochure designs so I could get an idea of what he likes. Design is subjective so some people like heavy colorful designs and some like the minimal style. By him sending me his favorite designs I can understand his "design sense".

Is the a better word for "Design sense"? I am not even sure if that word exists.

Thanks!

"design sense" is a correct phrase. You can also say "design style". To me, the latter may seem slightly more neutral (non-judgemental), and slightly more appropriate in your context.
