Hi!
Which one is better and more common to say?
The scheduled meeting is at 8 pm, but for some reason all the girls will be coming in late, so there will be a delay.
The scheduled time for the meeting is at 8 pm, but all the girls will be late for some reason, so the meeting would be a little delayed.

The 2nd one is the best although I don't like the last section. "so the meeting will be slightly delayed" would be my choice.
