[Better expression] My purpose of learning English

I'm not sure if the sentences below are natural or not, hope somebody can give me suggestions for a better saying.i would really appreciate that.

My purpose of learning English is to meet the potential need in my future career. I’m a graduate student majoring in Information Management, and I’m going to graduate from school in July. I believe a better English skill can be helpful for getting a better job. (at least, I will have to pass the interview in English.) Moreover, I hope I can make more friends from other cultures and thus I want to improve my English skills to make it easier to chat with foreigners. Besides, there are so many resources and all kinds of information in English, I think it would be good if I can feel comfortable with English. Therefore, I start to survey some online resources. What I mainly want to improve is conversation skill.
