What is the difference? are they have the same meaning?

To me, there is little difference in these two sentences. They are equally critical. However, in the positive expressions: This is one of your best dinners.

To me, there is little difference in these two sentences. They are equally critical. However, in the positive expressions:

This is one of your best dinners. - This is very complimentary.
This is one of your better dinners. - This is a bit snide and tacky; not so complimentary.

so it is not grammatically wrong. and it sounds it means as we used to know. thank you.
