best offer

0When selling something, 01font01b00"$20 or best offer"02b02font00 means it is negotiable, but 01font01b00"$20 (best offer)" 02b02font00means the price can not be lower. Is this understanding right? Thanks.0-

0Certainly the first indicatates negotiability. The second to me is a bit obscure, since you either state an absolute price, or offer a negotiable situation, and this does not quite do either. 0-

0 "$20 / obo" says that you want at a certain price for the item. I wouldn't call it exactly "negotiable", but rather "If nobody offers that much, after a while I'll give it to the person who has offered me the most money". 0-

00Let me clarify this: First, is "01b00obo02b00" a short hand for "01b00or best offer02b00?" Second, are you suggesting that obo in here means the price should be around $20 and the person who has offered me the most will get the item at last?01blockquote

0 I'm asking $20 for the chair. If the best offer I get is $17, I'll sell it for that amount. 0-

00Perhaps: The first person who offers me $20 will get it. If someone offers me $17, I'll take their name and let them know. At the end of the week, no one wants it for $20, I'll call that person back and ask if they still want it for $17.02br
