English is not my favorite subject and I thought that it was number 1 or 3, because it sounds like it makes the most sense. Then again you said not to just read words. Thanks for the tip and maybe that is my huge problem because I always try to see what makes the most sense when I am reading the questions.

Am I reading too much into this then CJ? I said number 1 also because of the fact that if the corn and soybeans are grown freshly from a vegetable garden, then couldn't it be a possibility that the prices would skyrocket since there was a drought in the Midwest.
Also, on number 3 I know you said no, but I thought that there would be a cause of the drought. Aren't some examples of drought

Hello CJ! I wasn't trying to state that their was anything in the passage about there being a vegetable gardens. I was more along the lines trying to think about where the corn and soybeans come from whether it's grown fresh, imported, or exported and how the prices would affect the drought. Sorry, I looked up on the internet for examples of droughts and these were some that were listed right on t
