There are many activities that benefit students, one of which is volunteer work. Firstly, joining volunteer campaigns helps students stay away from the challenging schoolwork and hustle and bustle city life in case the students live in a city. They can enjoy their social life and give their hands to those in need thus making their life happier and any community a better place to live in. Second, working as volunteer increase the chance of students getting a good job. Nowadays, most companies require not only good academic performance but also volunteer experience and the recruiters tend to prioritize CVs of interviewees who have done volunteer work before. Last but not least, being a volunteer provide students new skills, especially soft skills. These skills are very important to them both at school and at work. Such skills as communication, team-working, organizing ones are surely practice when they do volunteer work.
