Being/because

Hi
Please help me with this.
Being a doctor he did not need to worry about getting medicines.
I think this is better said as, " Because of being a doctor he did not worry...... .
Am I correct?

This is fine. You could also say "Seeing as he was a doctor....." or "Given that he was a doctor......"

If you wish to use the conjunction because, you would need to write this:
