being that conjunction

a) Being a student, I have plenty of time for extracurricular activities.

(Because (I am)=being)

b) Being that this is the final day of the year, we should drink ourselves silly.

(Because=being that)

c) Being this is a public event, I am very concerned about parking.

Question: Are a,b, c corrent?

A & B are fine, even though the construction is a bit stiff and very formal. C, however, has a problem. There is a word missing (you may have forgot to type it).
