Being sick in bed? Sick in bed?

Hello everyone,

I have a very simple question

Ex) being sick in bed, i did my homework

Ex) sick in bed, i did my homework

I think both are okay but my korean teacher says that the sentence without “being” is grammatically wrong, so natives dont speak like that!!

Which one is right????

Looking forward your bright opinions! Thanks!

n K Ex) being sick in bed, i did my homework Ex) sick in bed, i did my homework Sentences must begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop (or other stop). The word "I" must always be capitalised. If you fix these errors then both these are correct English.

  • The word "I" must always be capitalised.
  • If you fix these errors then both these are correct English.
  • The second one may be a less usual style, and more confined to written English, but to me neither seems a tremendously likely thing for anyone to want to say.
