being on the clock

Hello all,
this may be interesting for other students too.
I'd like to know the meaning / better explanation of this sentence: "don't be too hung up about being on the clock".

It is a part of today's horoscope for Cancer: Although this might be your day off, you'll still feel better if you schedule your activities in advance. Make time to do your chores, to play and to get in touch with your inner self through meditation, prayer or heartfelt discussions with a friend. But don't be too hung up about being on the clock or you might miss a truly wonderful experience. (tarot.com)

Usually being "on the clock" means that you are at work, getting paid. Your boss comes in while you're surfing the Internet looking for a hotel for your vacation, and says "You can do that when you're not on the clock."

In this case, it sounds more like "don't worry about following a strict schedule - your tasks don't have to take place during the time you have set for them."
