Being local/global reach

What they want to convey with saying "being local"? I also didn't understand "Global reach"?

You help is apperciated.

(Video at 0.45) Always being local with the locals so understanding the local context but with a global reach of EQT colleagues and industrial advisors.

I guess she's Danish. All these people have serious accents and some have problems with idiom. Why would you use this stuff to learn English? Anyway, she is spouting corporate duckspeak, using the words "local" and "global" as parts of the spell she is trying to cast over you. Don't worry about the meaning. Her language is unusual and not valuable for an ESL student.
