cause i see clauses use being + past participle (w/o is/are/am in it) all the time
Well, okay... a clause. A clause is not a sentence. I thought you were writing a sentence. Are these clauses the kind of examples you are seeing 'all the time'?:
The lawn, being mowed, was not a safe place for the children to play.
davket, if i got you right those sentences have dependent clauses hence if a sentecnes does not have dependent one it cannot use being + past participle ? am i right? as to ur nickname sry its just a typo
