Being a doctor is tiring. (It is tiring to be a doctor.)
Being able to hold one’s liquor is a useful skill. (Having the ability to hold one’s liquor is a useful skill.)

Both underlined clauses are used as subjects. Don’t confuse these with verbs in the progressive, such as You are being rude.

Thanks Aspara!!

I am confused with the usage of being and to be.

Being rude means behave/act in a rude way.. Am i right? (if not pls explain its meaning)

Being a doctor is tiring means this emphasis state of being a doctor (if not pls explain its meaning)

It is tiring to be a doctor this look like a more a present tense, not just a state (if not pls explain its
