Begin in a business

Hello,

could you please tell me whether it's correct to say "begin in a business", for instance:

"When I first began in the development business, I had to face many bureaucratic problems."

Thank you

I see no problem. I think it might be more colloquial to say started rather than began , but that's just my "ear" talking, not any grammatical logic.
