Before or when, would or will ?

Hi,

Question:
Which sentence is more logical?

Sentence1:
I would go to understand my work before I start to do it.
Sentence2:
I would go to understand my work when I start to do it.
Sentence3:
I will go to understand my work before I start to do it.

Sentence4:

I will go to understand my work when I start to do it.

Thanks

Hi, I don't understand what 'go to understand' means. Perhaps you mean 'try to understand', but it sounds weak to say that you will 'try' to understand. Your employer expects you to understand, not to merely 'try to understand'.

They all need revision. Try the following:

I will learn about the job before I start to do it.

I would learn about the job before I started to do it.

I will know more about the job [when / after] I start to do it.
I would know more about the job [when / after] I started to do it.

Hi again,

My understanding is that you are trying to choose answers to questions people may ask you in an interview.

So, as I said earlier, please show us the question you are responding to.

If you don't, we can't tell you whether it's a suitable answer in either grammar or meaning.

So, what's the exact question?

Hi,

And what is your answer?

The answer can also depend on the type of work, ie the type of job you are applying for. So, what type of job?

You can answer this in many ways.

eg I will always check my work carefully.

eg I will always make sure I understand a task before I start working on it.

eg I will always ask for constructive feedback from my superiors, so that I can constantly improve my work.

"eg I will always make sure I understand a task before I start working on it."

Exactly the thing I hope, thanks
