"before immigration to the United States"

Hello,

Which of these is correct? This is in bullet point form.

"- Completed an English course before immigration to the United States."

or

"- Completed an English course before immigrating to the United States."

Thank you very much.

Both are correct. Your choice may depend on how you word the other bullet points, but you probably want 'immigrating'. CJ
