before I'm forced vs. before being forced and a question about punctuation

1. I should have a couple of years before I'm forced to leave. vs. I should have a couple of years before being forced to leave.
Which one's correct? Or are they both incorrect?

2. Consider this sentence: The bastard, Responsibility, showed up at my doorstep today.
Should I omit the commas or not?
