1. Is the sentence correct?
2. Are both possible?

I think they need to assess their financial situation before they make the decision to have the child - once you are in the "just before giving birth" phase, you're out of time.

Of course, birth control is much more available and relaible where I live than in other parts of the world, so my suggestion may be naive.

No, I mean preventing pregnancy in first place. I suppose the morning-after bill could be called that, but I would NEVER call abortion "birth control."

Could you please avoid using naive in your explanation because I don't feel comfortable with it. I'm trying to understand it. Your original post said they should examine their financial situation before giving birth. I suggest that this type of review should take place well before that time. If you are about to give birth, you have obviously already made the decision to become pregnant in the first place. I suggested that a person should review finances and make sure she can afford to have a baby before a pregnanc
