Hello everyone

Can we use the conjunction "before" as followings?

1. Before* past simple*past simple

- Before he went to the office he visited his friend.

2. Before*past simple*past perfect

- Before he went to the office he had visited his friend.

3. Before*past simple*past continuous

- Before he went to the office he was playing the guitar.
