Hello,

I need advice on the followings.

Is it okay to say them both?

a.) I've never ben to this shop before.
b.) I've never been in this shop before.

(I would use the first one anyway.)

What about these ones? Are they equally correct to use?

a.) This time yesterday
b.) At this time yesterday I was surfing the net.
c.) Yesterday at this time

Thanks.

Bye,
Henry

) I've never be e n to this shop before. ) I've never been in this shop before. Both are correct.

  • ) I've never be e n to this shop before.
  • ) I've never been in this shop before.
  • Both are correct.
  • Some people insist that you can use the first one only if you have gone to the shop and left the shop, that is, you are not at the shop when you say: I've never been to that shop before.
  • There could be a difference between British and American English on this point.
