How about "The handle [ became/came/got/grew/turned ] loose?" Is 'come' also wrong here?

Came is fine; turned is not.

Could you tell me why 'come red' and 'turn loose' sound awkward? What is the difference between 'come' and 'turn' in terms of meaning when an adjective is put behind them?

Could you tell me why 'turn red' and 'come loose' are right while 'turn loose' and 'come red' are wrong respectively? Compared to 'come' and 'turn', 'become' and 'get' have no limit to taking 'red' or 'loose' as an adjective compelement, so I feel it difficult to understand this.
