Can this be said:

I was able to get issue number one and I've become a fan and follower ever since.

I've become a fan is one idea. That's fine. I've been a follower ever since is another.

  • I've become a fan is one idea.
  • That's fine.
  • I've been a follower ever since is another.
  • That's fine.
  • But when you combine them as you have done, it makes it sound like it contains I've become a follower ever since , which doesn't work because "becoming" is a one-time event which can't extend over the period of time "ever since".
