Because/just because

Which are correct:

1-Because he is small, don't think he can't beat you.
2-Just because he is small, don't think he can't beat you.

3-Because he is small, you shouldn't think he can't beat you.
4-Just because he is small, you shouldn't think he can't beat you.

I think '2' and '4' work but '1' and '3' don't.
One could say that '2' and '4' are ambiguous, but in this context their meaning is clear.
