The second one would usually mean: I am not attracted to her and the reason it that I help her from time to time.



Are you saying that it could also have the same meaning as the first sentence?

Hi,

The second one would usually mean: I am not attracted to her and the reason it that I help her from time to time. If I wanted that meaning, I'd put a comma after the word 'her'. In other words, I'd say the first part and then pause in ordere to show the listener that it was a separate thought.

Could I still get that meaning if I took out the 'just' and said:

2a-I am not attracted to her because I help her from time to time.

instead of:

2-I am not attracted to her just because I help her from time to time.

In other words, could 2a mean:

A-Because I help her does not mean I am attracted to her.
