Be/become/remain

Hye everyone! Could you please tell me which is correct to use here?
and what is the difference between "be" and "become"

If i say'

"He thought that he be carefull"

"He thought that he remains carefull"

"he thought that he becomes carefull"

Which one is right to say ? could i use "s" after the verbs or not?

He thought that he would be careful.
He thought that he could be careful.
He thought that he must be careful.
He thought that he could become careful if he tried very hard..

Difference between "be" and "become"

Ellie is a baby girl.
Ellie will become a woman.

Bob did not have a job. He did not have money. So he became a robber and took money from rich people.
