In other words, different people may not agree that something is beautiful. Some will see something a beautiful and some will not.

In BrE, it's usually "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" (i.e. not "eyes").

This is funny.

In China, we have a similar saying, which in (my shabby) English is like this: Xisi comes out from the lover's eyes.

Here Xisi is a terribly famous beauty in ancient China.

In Polish there's something like - 'Milosc jest slepa' - which word for word (can it be said like that ?) means - 'Love is blind'. The person you love seems to be the prettiest, the smartest etc
