Beautiful/pretty/good-looking

Hi,

Can I use beautiful, pretty and good-looking to describe women and girls? What is the defferent in usage and meaning between them?

She is a beautiful/pretty/good-looking woman.

The little girl is beautiful/pretty/good-looking.

good-looking is the most generic form. In fact, it's so generic you can use it for men and boys as well. pretty suggests something more trivial than beautiful .

pretty suggests something more trivial than beautiful. pretty is much more readily and widely applied than beautiful. beautiful is a lot more special.

For every 50 pretty women, there is only one beautiful one.
