Beautiful people

The mainstream culture has more or less come to the determination-at least intellectually-that we ought not discriminate against ugly old people. But what about discriminating against attractive young people? What if a male executive specifically looks for someone old and plain as his assistant so he can minimize distraction and put in overtime without his wife getting nervous?

But seriously ... about a month ago there was a related story that got a lot of press. Apparently research shows that parents treat ugly babies worse than parents treat cute babies. We're talking, parents dog out their own kids if the kids are ugly!
