Bear/ stand

I am stumped but I have words. Here goes:

I cannot stand the reflection in the mirror.

I cannot bear the pain in my heart.

Depression is an illness I can no longer stand to bear .

Stand to bear...is that properly written? The usage of stand/bear are sometimes interchangeable but hold connotations of their own. The combination of the two really does seem to illustrate my issue but I'm not sure if the term makes sense or is one that is used at all.

Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't say it is wrong, but it sounds pretty odd.
