Be verb plus preposition of

1.Time is of the Essence.

2.Heaven is of Honey.

3.This picture is of a mature, but still modern woman.

Can I say these sentences as follows?

1.Time is the Essence.

2.Heaven is Honey.

3. This picture is a mature, but still modern woman.

The series of be verb plus preposition “ of ” appears strange to me.

Please tell me the work of this “ of .”

  • You can't really take out "of" and still keep the meaning.
