be verb contraction

Hi, could I ask a question?
I know that contractions of a "subject pronoun " are often used in speaking and writing.
But, could beV and other nouns be contracted?

example: His name's Toby.
Is "name's" above correct?
Do we use it in both speaking and writing languages?

Example: Ben's jogging over there.
Is "Ben's " here correct?
Do we use it in both speaking and writing languages?

Thank you for your reply.
