Be the change

Hi,

I see this often, be the change etc.

Is it alright to say: Why don't you be the change you wish to see in the world?

Thanks,
Sarah

Anonymous Is it alright to say: Why don't you be the change you wish to see in the world? It is a sort of literary conceit, Sarah, and not something we would use often. However, the grammar is OK.
