be sure to-v vs. be sure of -ing

StartFragment>
I come upon the below question in a test.

The answer is said to be 'to shatter.'

But I think both could be possible.

What do you think?

You know how fragile I am. The least shock is sure [to shatter/ of shattering] me!

"The least shock is sure of shattering me," would use a different meaning (sense) of "sure," mainly because of the presence of "of." People are sure of things; events are not sure of things.

The least shock is certain to shatter me. I am sure of/about my fragile state of mind.

Best wishes, - A.
