Be or being ?

Hello. My question is very simple: If I want to thank someone for something, about a action in the past that has just happened, not something that is still happening, which one is right:

Thank you for being sincere.
Thank you for be sincere.
Thank you for had been sincere.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, #1. Not #2 or #3. You could also say 'Thank you for having been sincere', but that sounds like you think the person is not sincere right now.
